Fundraising for Reivers Cycle Route
Please donate to help fund the re-energised Reivers Cycle Route (off-road)
We wish to raise a minimum of £6,500 to allow us to develop, promote and maintain the re-energised Reivers Cycle Route off-road version. We also wish to create other new cycle routes and improve sections of existing cycle routes.
Tyne Valley MTB Cycling wish to raise a minimum of £6,500 to allow us to:
- Develop,
- Promote,
- and maintain
the re-energised Reivers Cycle Route off-road version. We also wish to create other new cycle routes and improve sections of existing cycle routes.
We need to raise £3,000 to complete payment for the design of the new Reivers Cycle Route map (buy from www.northern-heritage.co.uk) showing both the off-road and on-road alignments. Sales revenue goes towards route management.
We need to raise £2,000 to complete signing and waymarking the off-road route and £1500 to pay for the new website.
We work with:
- local authorities and tourism bodies,
- 2 National Parks,
- 2 AONBs,
- Forestry England,
- relevant businesses and Cycling UK.
If we reach and ideally exceed our target sum we can go on to implement / improve other cycle routes. Cycling Clubs that donate a lump sum can have their name and website shown on the re-printed map.
